What I learned about Immigration and would like to share with others

Lesson Context:
This will be the final lesson. Students will participate in being active citizens by drawing something they learned about immigration and share with peers. I will hang up final products in the hallway for other students to see.
Lesson Opening:
Procedures:
· Create message; Have students chose something they learned throughout the unit and would like for other children to know.
· They should then write a few sentences along with a drawing on a white sheet of paper about what they learned and think others should know on immigration.

· Final art work created. Does it contain a message on immigration?

- SWBAT take a role as an active citizen in our community by expanding awareness
